The Multicultural Women’s Organization of Newfoundland and Labrador (MWONL) was formed in 1982 after a conference concerning immigrant women in Toronto in March 1981.
MWONL is a provincial based voluntary, non- profit organization for multicultural women and their families.

Mission: MWONL delivers specialized services that facilitate the integration and full participation of women and their families in the community.
MWONL provides professional, gender-based, culturally competent, comprehensive services to meet the diverse needs of immigrant women and their families.
Programs and services are easily accessible and are offered by skilled and dedicated staff supported by committed board members and volunteers.

Others interested can also be members of the MWONL. The membership fee is $10.00 per year.
